He also said the meeting was a manifestation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's commitment to take all political stakeholders along when it comes to key matters involving India's strategic interests.
The home minister said all parties are proud of the country's armed forces, their valour and have full faith in them to defend India's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
“The all-party meeting today was enriched by the views of various esteemed leaders. It was a manifestation of PM Narendra Modi’s commitment to take all political stakeholders along, when it comes to key matters involving India’s strategic interests,” Shah’s follow-up tweet said.
The all-party meeting was called to discuss the stand-off with China's PLA along the Sino-Indian border in Ladakh.

The prime minister was briefing leaders of key political parties on the more than six-weeks-long border standoff with China which has recently led to the sacrifice of 20 Indian soldiers in the Galwan Valley . PM Modi said in the meeting that the army has been given complete freedom to take all the necessary steps.
The Prime Minister said that the soldiers who sacrificed their lives gave a befitting reply to those who dared to look towards India's sovereignty. Asserting that China is not on Indian soil, PM Narendra Modi also said that none of India's border posts have been captured, nor had China breached the Indian borders.
The prime minister also assured the leaders that the armed forces are leaving no stone unturned to protect the country. He said that the Army has always done whatever is necessary to protect India's sovereignty — be it deployment action or counteraction.
