Congress leader Acharya Pramod Krishnam on Monday criticised the I.N.D.I.A. bloc and said that the alliance since its inception has been infected with serious diseases, after which it went into the ICU, and it was cremated by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday. The remarks of the Congress leader came a day after Nitish Kumar took oath as the CM of Bihar for the ninth time. Krishnam also criticised Congress' Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra labelling it 'political tourism' of the party.

"Since its inception, has been infected with serious diseases. Then it went into the ICU after which, it was put on a ventilator. Yesterday, Nitish Kumar cremated it," Acharya Pramod Krishnam said.

The Congress leader also took a swipe at the grand old party's 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra' led by Rahul Gandhi, calling it the Congress party's "political tourism". He said that it seems that the party is preparing for the 2029 elections.

"Congress party has some very great and intelligent leaders. While on one hand, all political parties are gearing up for the 2024 elections, on the other hand, the whole Congress party is doing political tourism, they are travelling. Actually, we will figure out how to win the 2024 elections after 2024. It seems we are preparing ourselves for the 2029 elections. Had we been preparing for 2024, this would not have happened," Krishnam said.

On the INDIA alliance, Congress leader Acharya Pramod Krishnam says, "INDIA alliance, since its inception, has been infected with serious diseases. Then it went into the ICU. After which, it was put on a ventilator. Yesterday, Nitish Kumar cremated it. Now what will happen to the INDIA alliance?"
