The actor shared the screenshot of the message on social media. The man had addressed him as “Dear Prime Minister Imran Khan Sahib”.
The message then followed warm words of praises and ended expressing desire of joining Imran Khan’s party.
The message read: “Successful leader takes right decision at right times. He recognises true friends and supporters and selects faithful team members. Now it is ten year long governance and I want to join your team on the very first day.”
The English message was then followed by Urdu script.
The actor shared the screenshot on Twitter and jocularly wrote: “I guess I can no longer ignore the call to action. Gonna start drafting some policy outlines this week, I'll keep you guys updated.”
This is not the first instance when he was confused for somebody else. The actor’s Instagram account has many screenshots where he has been confused with other people and it is hilarious.
On one occasion he has been confused with Irrfan Khan. Though he has been at the receiving end of mistaken identity far too often, Imran has kept his witty side up.
