Mumbai Police has exposed a major sex racket going on clandestinely in a luxurious hotel in Mumbai. With this move, police have freed 8 sex-workers  from the clutches of prostitution. The revelation was made as police raided several areas in Mumbai after receiving a tip-off about the same.


According to sources, the Crime Intelligence Unit was the first to receive information about sex racket going on in some prominent areas of Mumbai. After this, a special police team was formed which raided different places.


During this, a plush hotel in Juhu was also raided. The women who were found involved in the racket admitted being forced into flesh traded


"Acting on a specific information, the police's Crime Intelligence Unit conducted a raid on the hotel located near the Juhu beach in western suburbs on Tuesday," an official said. 


At the same time, police also arrested three such people who allegedly tricked the girls and pushed them into the flesh-trade. According to officials, some more people are suspected to be involved and police is conducting search to nab them.


Most of the girls who have been freed came to Mumbai to pursue their future in modeling, but had to enter the trade due to lack of work. Earlier also, such rackets have been caught in Mumbai which operate in collusion with hotels.
