It all started with team of ABP News on Friday morning reached the outskirts of Hathras village and tried to enter inside to meet victim's family, Police is heavy numbers came their way asked them not to report on the incident.
After various attempts by our team to know the reason behind why they were being stopped to enter the village, cops shamelessly and forcefully took Pratima and Manoj in a police van and dropped them outside the village.
The callous policemen misbehaved with both of them and failed to produce any order to bar them from entering the village.
All this incident was captured on air and even attempts to unplug the live wire of camera were also made. This shocking behaviour of UP Police was criticised by many and soon #ABPKoMatRoko started trending on Twitter.
Several took to the micro-blogging site and supported ABP News and applauded Pratima and Manoj for standing tall against the heinous crime. While some said ABP News did a great job, many others questioned UP Police and state government explain their stand.

The mortal remains of a 19-year-old Dalit woman from Hathras, who died in a Delhi hospital after sustaining serious injuries during an alleged gang rape, was cremated early Wednesday in her village amid tight security.
The woman was allegedly raped in a Hathras village by four men, who were later taken into custody. Initially she was rushed to the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College and Hospital in Aligarh, but on Monday night had to be shifted to the Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi after her condition deteriorated.
