Haryana Elections 2019: The Bharatiya Janata Party crossed the majority seat tally in Haryana, in the initial hour of counting of votes on Thursday.
The much-anticipated trends projected BJP leading on 53 seats, while the Congress was leading on 19 and the Jannayak Janta Party on 4.
Chief Minister Manohar lal Khattar was leading in Karnal assembly constituency. BJP’s candidate Babita Phogat was also leading on Dadri seat.

According to ABP News-C Voter Exit Poll, the saffron party is predicted to clinch 70 of the 90 seats in the assembly. The Congress continuing its dismal run is projected to win mere 8 seats, while other parties are limited to 12 seats.
The Exit Poll has found that BJP may get 42% vote share, while Congress is tipped to get 26%, JJP 19% & Others 13%.
The state recorded a turnout of 65 per cent for 90 constituencies in the assembly elections by 6 pm on Monday, the Election Commission said this evening.
Though the main contest is between the BJP and Congress on several seats in the state JJP, which broke away from the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD), is also being closely watched. Other parties in the running are the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), AAP and Swaraj India party.
