While the Kumbh Mela tweet seems to have been deleted by Harsh Goenka, a purported screenshot of the same has gone viral and is receiving negative responses.

The previous controversial tweet on Lord Shiva also had Goenka share a joke where the Hindu god is said to be drinking at a bar, which led to people expressing hurt religious sentiments.

As previously mentioned, the responses include Twitter users demanding an apology while calling out a ban on one of Goenka's brands CEAT Tyres.

There were those few who shared a different opinion.

Notably, former actress and Television host Simi Grewal also shared the photo with the same caption.

Meanwhile, it is being reported that the photo shared was originally taken in 2013 is not from the current congregation.
