Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Friday accused the ruling BJP of plundering the wealth of the people in Gujarat and said the voters would end the 27-year corrupt regime of the saffron party to usher a new political era. Addressing a gathering at Panchmahal in Gujarat along with Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Mann said people of Gujarat would ensure a landslide victory of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) party in the upcoming assembly elections.

"The people were deprived of basic facilities like education and health. But now people are ready to teach a lesson to BJP and voters are eager to oust the 27-year dastardly regime in 27 minutes in the upcoming assembly elections," Mann said.

Mann said the Opposition was "unnerved" and trying to malign AAP by dubbing it 'B' team of others. "AAP is party of Gujarat's people and 130 crore of Indians. AAP is spearheading to make India number 1 by cleaning the decade-old filth in the system with their honest and pro-people approach," Mann further said.

Claiming a massive wave of change in favour of the AAP in Gujarat, the Punjab Chief Minister said that the state would repeat the history of Delhi and Punjab and the party will form the government with a landslide margin.

Reiterating that AAP would eliminate corruption from the system after forming the government in the state, Bhagwant Mann said that foreigners ruled India for over 200 years but they would have also felt ashamed to witness that they could not match the loot the ruling leaders were currently doing in the country.

Taking potshots at Congress over its MLAs jumping ship to BJP, Mann said that the party was not for "change but for exchange" only. "Their MLAs are ready to join other parties as they know ship of Congress is sinking in the country," Mann said.
