The residents thereafter stood on the flag and raised anti-Pakistan slogans with Indian flags in their hands.
Though the intention of the youth wasn’t bad, case was registered against them by Gujarat cops on the charges of destroying public property and painting Pakistan flag on Indian roads.
Two soldiers namely Naib Subedar Paramjeet Singh and the BSF's Head Constable Prem Sagar were killed and thereafter mutilated by Pakistan Army in Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.
The incident occurred when Pakistan Army officials first violated ceasefire, thereafter crossed the line of control and mutilated the Indian jawans.
India has now collected evidence against Pakistan Army, which has been denying conducting mutilation of the Indian jawans.
Refuting Pakistan’s claim of not committing the act, Defence Minister Arun Jaitley also asserted that such an act where crossing of borders are involved cannot be committed without an involvement of the Army.
He further added that, “Mutilation of the bodies of two Indian soldiers were done after entering Indian border and is a joint barbaric act of Pakistan’s Army”.
