The Centre has launched a common portal -- Rashtriya Puruskar Portal (https://awards.gov.in) -- to bring together all the awards of the various ministries, departments and agencies under one platform. A statement released by the Home Ministry said this was done to ensure "transparency and public partnership (Jan Bhagidari)".


The Union Home Ministry said the portal facilitates every citizen or organisation to nominate individuals and organisations for various awards instituted by the government. 


"With this portal, for the first time in the history of India, information regarding all national awards would be available to the public on a single digital platform including their eligibility criteria, selection procedure, and details of past awardees. Also, people will be able to make nominations for various awards on a single platform, which is simple and user-friendly," the Home Ministry statement said.



The last date for nominations and recommendations for the Padma Awards is September 15. For the National Award for Excellence in Forestry 2022, the last date is September 30.


The last date for the National Gopal Ratna Award 2022 is also September 15, which is also the last date for the National Water Awards 2022. For the Nari Shakti Puraskar 2023, the last date is October 31.


For the Subhash Chandra Bose Aapda Prabandhan Puraskar 2023, the last date is August 31.


The portal is currently receiving nominations and recommendations for various kinds of awards:
