New Delhi: The new illustration of Google Doodle has appeared amidst the chaos generated by the novel Coronavirus. Google Doodle came up with this new animated portrayal on Friday where it shared tips to contain the novel Coronavirus pandemic. In order to prevent the spread of the deadly virus, people have been advised to stay at home and maintain social distancing.


Today Google Doodle is featuring the animated letters as characters where each alphabet is engrossed in some sort of activity at home.

Google through this illustration is trying to give a message people should stay at home and save lives (STAY HOME SAVE LIVES).

The various activities depicted are like the message of playing guitar, reading books, exercising, talking to loved ones, etc. has been given.

The Google Doodle redirects to a page that lists 'Coronavirus tips' and states, "Stay home. Save lives. As COVID-19 continues to impact communities around the world, help stop the spread by following these steps."



Help stop Coronavirus, Google Doodle said, and listed tips to prevent COVID-19, the infection caused by the virus. Some of the tips are as under:

  • Stay home

  • Keep a safe distance

  • Wash hands often

  • Cover your cough

  • Sick? Call the helpline


Google Doodle also elaborated the tips further by adding wash your hands regularly for 20 seconds, with soap and water or alcohol-based hand rub.

Cover your nose and mouth with a disposable tissue or flexed elbow when you cough or sneeze.

Avoid close contact (1 meter or 3 feet) with people who are unwell.

Stay home and self-isolate from others in the household if you feel unwell.

The page further said, "Don't touch your eyes, nose, or mouth if your hands are not clean."

While sharing COVID-19 tips, Google Doodle also posted statistics illustrated with a graphic map - the number of confirmed Coronavirus cases in countries across the world, the number of recovered patients and the death toll.

Furthermore, Google Doodle explained what Coronavirus is and how it spreads.

The worldwide death toll from Corona has crossed the figure of 53 thousand on Friday. At the same time, more than 10 lakh people have fallen prey to it.
