New Delhi: Former BJP MP and Ramjanmabhoomi Nyas member Ram Vilas Vedanti has claimed that the Ram temple will be built in Ayodhya with the consensus of all the parties and groups involved in Ram Mandir dispute. Vedanti has claimed that all the parties involved in Ram Janmabhumi case have come up with a formula for resolving the temple dispute with mutual agreement. According to the former parliamentarian, under this, the world's largest mosque will be built in Lucknow, whereas a grand temple of Ramlala in Ayodhya will be constructed. He also clarified that the mosque will not be named after Babar.

Claiming that BJP has resolved to build the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Vedanti said the construction of the Ram Mandir will begin before the Lok Sabha Elections 2019. "BJP has resolved to build the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The construction of Ram Mandir will begin before the election of 2019 takes place,” he said, news agency ANI tweeted.

He had earlier said that a grand Ram temple will be built in Ayodhya "all of a sudden". In the month of June this year, he had said, "A grand Ram temple will come up at Ayodhya in 2019, all of a sudden, almost on lines of the demolition of the Babri mosque." Alluding to the demolition of the disputed structure in 1992, the former lawmaker had tried to suggest that the way to the construction of the Ram temple could be out of court as well. He said that only the BJP had the "capacity to construct the Ram temple".

He had also demanded that Prime Minister Narendra Narendra Modi ensure that the Ram Janmabhoomi Nyaas gets back the 67-acre land.
