New Delhi: Dimple Yadav, wife of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, who is accompanying husband on his Vikas Rath Yatra termed the event as "a historic beginning", on Thursday.

"This will be a historic beginning, we can see so much youth force. We are very positive about the elections", said Dimple Yadav, reported ANI.

"In coming times I am sure that farmers, youth, everyone will support us for all the development that SP brings", said the CM Akhilesh Yadav while on his way to Unnao.

A TWIST IN TALE:

Akhilesh Yadav's uncle, Shivpal Yadav, on Thursday, surprisingly, attended the Vikas Rath Yatra function of the CM at Lucknow along with Mulayam Singh Yadav. What's more? He even congratulated the Chief Minister. Both said that again the state will see a Samajwadi Party government.

This recent, apparent, patch-up between the CM and the state president of Samajwadi Party, Shivpal Yadav has definitely shocked many.

READY FOR COALITION:

During the Rath Yatra, CM of UP has given a big statement to ABP News that his party has its door open for the coalition. Recently, the rumours are gaining momentum that SP may join hands with the Congress in the state.

On Tuesday, Congress' poll strategist in the state Prashant Kishor had met Mulayam Singh Yadav.

IS RATH YATRA SHOW OF STRENGTH BY CM?

It may have been termed as "Vikas Rath Yatra" but clearly it is a show of strength of the CM to not only the opposition parties like BJP and BSP but also to his uncle Shivpal Yadav with whom he recently had not so smooth relation.
