A level-2 fire broke out at Nowrosjee Wadia Hospital in Mumbai's Parel on Friday evening, PTI reported. As many as eight fire engines and six water tankers were sent to the spot and the blaze was brought under control in an hour.

The fire erupted near a paediatric operation theatre on the first floor of the hospital around 6.50 pm.
The incident comes days after a massive fire engulfed a film studio set near the Andheri Sports Complex, killing one person.
The blaze at Chitrakoot Studio, spread across over 5,000 square feet, was brought under control after four hours.
The victim, identified as Manish Devashi (32), was reportedly a lightman working at the studio on the sets erected for a Rajshri Productions film and another movie by filmmaker Luv Ranjan.
The second film, titled "Anaam", stars Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. The actors were scheduled to shoot a song there. However, both the actors were not on the set at the time of the tragedy.
