A fire broke out at the under construction building of the King George's Medical University. After the news came out, fire tenders were rushed to the scene, news agency ANI reported.

Earlier today, a low-intensity explosion took place during the cleaning of goods godown near the Ludhiana Court complex. A glass bottle exploded when garbage was set ablaze, according to police, reported ANI.
“Probably some glass bottles in the garbage exploded which led to a minor blast. A sweeper had put a pile of garbage on fire in the parking area,” said Inspector Neeraj Chaudhary as quoted by Indian Express.
No casualties or injuries were reported.
According to the Indian Express report, ACP (Civil Lines) Jasroop Kaur Batth while speaking to the media, said, “The malkhana (storeroom where police records are kept) was being cleaned and scrap was taken out. A sweeper had put a pile of garbage on fire and a glass bottle inside it exploded. There was no malafide intention or foul play. We request residents of Ludhiana not to spread or believe in any rumours which are calling it an act of terror.”
Earlier this week, a fire broke out at Jawaharlal Nehru Bhawan on Janpath Road in Delhi.
According to authorities, the server room situated on the second level of the establishment caught fire.
Six firefighting vehicles were dispatched and the situation was successfully contained within thirty minutes.
The Delhi fire service officials were alerted about a fire outbreak at 11:38 am, following which they acted promptly to extinguish the fire. According to them, the blaze was successfully contained by 12. 05 pm
