Jagjit Singh Dalewala, leader of the Bharatiya Kisan Union has appealed to one and all to bang utensils to "wash out" PM Modi's address to the nation in 'Mann ki Baat' radio programme, News 18 reported.
This is reminiscent of the time when PM Modi had urged the nation to clap or bang thalis after Janta Curfew in appreciation of the brave frontline workers in battle against the Coronavirus pandemic.
BJP's lone Rajasthan ally Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) walked out of the ruling National Democratic Alliance on Saturday over the protest against the agrarian laws. It is the second NDA constituent to do so after the Shiromani Akali Dal quit. RLP leader and Nagaur MP Hanuman Beniwal announced the decision while addressing farmers at a rally in Shahjahanpur in Alwar district.

At a press conference on Saturday, Farmer leader Darshan Pal also revealed that they plan to hold a tractor march on the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) highway on December 30. "We request people from Delhi and other parts of the country to come and celebrate New Year with protesting farmers," Pal said.
The protesting farmer unions have also agreed for the 6th round of talks on December 29 albeit under certain conditions to end the deadlock between them and the Centre while the agitation crosses a month-long period wherein farmers braved bitterly cold weather while continuing to be at the various bordering areas of the national capital.
