Earthquake of magnitude 2.5 on the Ritcher scale occurred today at 15:47:00 IST in Palghar, Maharashtra, the National Centre for Seismology (NCS) stated.

There aren’t any reports of damage or sorts so far, however, authorities are alert and are monitoring the situation.

Magnitude 2.5 on the Richter scale is considered a very light intensity quake and have no fears of damage to property or life associated with it.
