Earthquake In Maharashtra: A mild earthquake struck Maharashtra on Tuesday afternoon. The intensity of the quake was recorded 2.5 on the Richter scale. The tremors were felt in Palghar at 3:47 pm. There aren’t any reports of damage or sorts so far, however, authorities are alert and are monitoring the situation. Magnitude 2.5 on the Richter scale is considered a very light intensity quake and have no fears of damage to property or life associated with it. India has witnessed several mild to strong tremors in several parts over the last few months. An earthquake happens when two blocks of the earth suddenly slip past one another.
