NEW DELHI: A low-intensity earthquake hit the national capital on Sunday afternoon. Mild tremors were felt in Delhi NCR for around three seconds, prompting people to rush out of their homes at some places. Tremors were also felt in Haryana's Rohtak, Jhajjar and Mahendragrh cities.


The quake occurred at 4.37 pm at a depth of 10 km and had a magnitude of 3.8, the National Centre For Seismology said.

It occurred in Jhajjar district and the tremors were also felt in the national capital, the NCS added.No loss of life or property was reported.
