New Delhi: An earthquake of mild intensity jolted the Delhi national capital region on Sunday. According to National Center for Seismology, earthquake of magnitude 3.5 struck the parts of NCR. There were no immediate reports of any damage to property. The tremors hit Delhi at 1:45 pm with Ghaziabad at the epicenter. At a time when India is already reeling under the deadly Coronavirus pandemic, many incident of earthquakes have been reported from various parts of the country. Ever since the lockdown, Delhi has been struck with quakes thrice.

The Delhi-NCR region was jolted by an earthquake of magnitude 2.7 on April 13. Tremors were felt all across the national capital region. The epicenter of the quake was in East Delhi about 8 km underground. The tremors were also felt in neighboring Noida, Ghaziabad, and Faridabad.
