Diwali 2024: Andhra Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan Extends Greeting To Hindus In Pak, Bangladesh & Afghan

Pawan Kalyan called on the global community to recognise the struggles faced by Hindus in Pakistan and Bangladesh, hoping for their “safety and fundamental rights.”

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena leader, Pawan Kalyan, extended heartfelt Diwali greetings to Hindus residing in Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan. The actor-turned-politician took to X on Thursday to convey his message, expressing solidarity with Hindu communities in these nations.

"My heartfelt 'Diwali' Greetings to Hindus in Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan. Especially for Hindus in Bangladesh, Lord Sri Rama may give you the strength and courage in the situation you are in. We all in 'Bharat' are looking forward to your safety and stability, and you are in our prayers," Pawan Kalyan wrote. He called on the global community to recognise the struggles faced by Hindus in Pakistan and Bangladesh, hoping for their “safety and fundamental rights.”

 

 

Reflecting on the occasion of Diwali, he said, "Today on a Diwali day, let's all pray for the safety of Hindus who are being persecuted in both Bangladesh and Pakistan. May Dharma be restored in their lands."

Pawan Kalyan also commented on a post featuring a song sung by a Hindu child from Pakistan. The song, he said, reflects the pain of Partition and the child’s longing to reconnect with the soul of Bharat. The post described the song's lyrics, "My Hindu neighbour Albelo is leaving for India. He will board a train this Friday and will never return to Pakistan," symbolizing the deep-rooted sense of loss felt by the Hindu diaspora in Pakistan.

Additionally, Pawan Kalyan extended Diwali greetings to the people of Andhra Pradesh, wishing them happiness and prosperity for the festival.
