New Delhi: Minister of Statistics and Programme Implementation in the Government of India, Sadananda Gowda was on Tuesday seen fuming in Mengaluru hospital when the authorities refused to accept old currency when he went to take home, the body of his brother who passed away in the hospital.

Clearly, the demonetisation has been affecting not just the common man but even the top notches and bureaucrats of the country. Angry Gowda forgot the order of his own government.

Gowda, who has also served as the 20th Chief Minister of Karnataka, was seen losing his patience and venting it out on the hospital authorities.

On Tuesday, in a meeting with his ministers Prime Minister Narendra Modi unanimously passed a resolution agreeing to outlaw old currency notes.

PM urged his party members to spread awareness amongst people about the long term perks of demonetisationa and that it has been implemented for the good of people.

The opposition parties on Wednesday are set to hold a large protest within the parliament complex.
