Delhiites will not get relief from the scorching heat of Delhi at least for a week. In Delhi, people are tortured by the extreme heat and are waiting for rain. While according to the Meteorological Department, there is no hope of rain for a week. Not only this, the heat in Delhi is now expected to become more scorching, as the temperature is increasing every day.
According to the Met department, there is no hope of rain in the month of March and the weather will remain clear on Friday and there is a possibility of bright sunshine. The maximum and minimum temperatures on Friday are expected to be 35 and 19 degrees Celsius respectively. From March 27 to 31, the normal maximum temperature is expected to be 32 degrees Celsius and the normal minimum temperature is expected to be 18 degrees Celsius.
The heat in Delhi has been breaking records for the past several days. On Thursday, Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 35.5 degrees Celsius, five degrees above normal and 21.2 degrees Celsius, four degrees above normal. The maximum temperature is expected to rise this week and the temperature is likely to reach 38 degrees Celsius in the next six days.
If you glance at the temperature in Delhi last year, the maximum temperature in the city was recorded at 40.1 degrees Celsius on March 30, which was the highest temperature of the month in 13 years. Now this year too, heat is breaking records in Delhi. Delhi's temperature is going up every day and Delhiites are not getting any relief from the heat.
