New Delhi: On Sunday, Delhi Police constable Kuldeep Singh went above and beyond the call of duty when he helped 82-year-old Shaila D'Souza get her vaccination.
Recently, the retired English teacher had expressed her desire to get vaccinated but she was unable to go on her own as she cited weakness and inability to walk.

Ct. Kuldeep Singh who is posted at Kashmere Gate Police Station used to visit D'Souza often to check on the octogenerian's well being at her residence in Mori Gate. After she told him about wanting to get vaccinated, Ct. Kuldeep approached SHO Dharmendra who personally spoke to the woman and got her registered.
On the day on the vaccination, took his personal vehicle and brought Shaila D'Souza to be inoculated at the Aruna Asif Ali Govt. Hospital. Thereafter, he dropped her back to her residence. He even carried her to the center from the vehicle and upstairs to her home as she wasn't able to walk.
Shaila D'Souza is a retired English teacher who used to teach at Presentation Convent School. She currently lives alone with an attendant.
For his work, Kuldeep Singh received enormous praises from netizens.
