New Delhi: The Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday alleged that the office of Delhi Jal Board (DJB) was vandalised by a mob led by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Delhi chief Adesh Gupta. As per reports, several BJP workers were holding demonstration since morning outside Jal Board office under the leadership of Gupta.

Chadha, in his tweet, also alleged that BJP goons attacked his office because Delhi Chief Minister and AAP are raising voices in support with farmers.

In a series of tweets, AAP alleged that Gupta along with other 250 workers of the saffron party barged into Chadha's office and broke the glasses, doors and pots.

"Around 12.30 pm, several BJP workers broke the doors and attacked the headquarters of Jal Board and raised slogans against the honorable Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.  The BJP workers have also damaged the office of Vice President Raghav Chadha," AAP said in a Hindi statement.

However, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) denied the allegations saying the attack was orchestrated by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Delhi BJP spokesperson Virendra Babar alleged that the AAP had itself orchestrated the attack and was now blaming the saffron party.

Meanwhile, Chadha tweeted a video clip purportedly showing broken doors, glass, pots, furniture and blood stains on the floor. Some of the staff members have suffered injuries, he claimed.

The AAP leader also alleged that BJP workers had come to the DJB headquarters to protest and the police allowed them to enter the premises. The Delhi Police has detained party unit chief Adesh Gupta and many workers, but we are not afraid of these tactics, he said.
