New Delhi: Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain was admitted to a hospital in Delhi after he complained of high fever and breathing trouble last night. As per inputs received, he has tested negative for the coronavirus test. Jain is admitted to Rajiv Gandhi Super Speciality Hospital in the national capital.

Jain tweeted and said that he will keep everybody updated regarding his health. "Due to high grade fever and a sudden drop of my oxygen levels last night I have been admitted to RGSSH. Will keep everyone updated," he tweeted.


It is to be noted that Jain was also present at the high-level review meeting conducted under Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday over the Coronavirus situation in Delhi.

Few days ago, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal had also undergone a Coronavirus test after he showed some of the symptoms of Covid-19. His report was negative.

 DDMA meet called by LG Baijal cancelled in view of Jain's health:

The Delhi Disaster Management Authority meeting called by Lieutenant Governor of Delhi has been deferred for Thursday, due to health minister Satyendra Jain's health condition. In the previous DDMA meeting, CM Arvind Kejriwal was not present as he hjad siolated himself after suspecting symptoms of Covid-19.

Today's meeting was of high significance in view of the worsening corona infection in Delhi. The meeting was scheduled to begin at 11 am at the LG residence.
