New Delhi: The Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been tested for Coronavirus on Tuesday morning. The swab test was conducted at the CM's residence. The result of the test will be known in the next 24-48 hours.

CM Kejriwal was suffering from ill-health for the past two days. The CM developed mild fever and sore throat since Sunday and decided to get tested as early as possible. He isolated himself at home after developing the  Coronavirus symptoms. The cause of worry regarding Kejriwal's health is more as he is a diabetic patient.

Deputy Chief Minister, Manish Sisodia has confirmed that the Chief Minister is fine and there is nothing to worry about.

In the past few days, CM Kejriwal had attended a few meetings and had also visited the Delhi Secretariat. On Sunday morning, Kejriwal held a cabinet meeting at his official residence which was attended by many AAP ministers, including Sisodia, Environment Minister Gopal Rai, Health Minister Satyendar Jain, officials said.  After the cabinet meeting, Kejriwal canceled all his official engagements as he felt sick.

The Delhi CM will not be able to attend the state disaster management authority’s meeting on community transmission of Covid-19 in Delhi and health care strategies. On his behalf, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia will take part in the meeting.
