New Delhi: A building collapsed in the Azad Market area of the national capital on Friday and three fire tenders rushed to the spot to rescue the residents.


According to news agency ANI, six to seven labourers are trapped in the debris of the building. No casualties have been reported till now. The number of injured increased from two persons to five.





"As per info, around 6-7 labourers are trapped. 5 injured have been referred to hospital. NDRF team has also reached. We are also detecting through a live detector. JCB unable to reach the spot due to narrow line": Ravinder Singh from Delhi Fire Service informed, as quoted by ANI.






A search and rescue operation is underway. More details about the incident are awaited.
