New Delhi: A Delhi-bound IndiGo flight (6E 2126) was reportedly grounded at Patna airport after a passenger claimed that he had a bomb in his bag, news agency ANI reported. After landing at the Patna airport, the passenger’s bag was checked and no bomb was found, the report stated. All the passengers were deboarded safely.






According to the ANI report, the passenger making the claim has been arrested, and bomb squad and police present at the spot were further checking the aircraft.






Meanwhile, in yet another incident of technical snag, a Kochi-bound Air India flight was diverted to Mumbai due to low air pressure, news agency PTI reported quoting aviation authorities.


"An incident of low pressure was reported in Air India Boeing Fleet B787, Flight No. AI- 934 (Dubai-Kochi). The flight was diverted to Mumbai and it landed safely. Two senior officers of O/o DAS WR are assigned the task to carry out a preliminary investigation," the DGCA said in a statement.

Earlier, on Wednesday, the windshield of a Go First flight from Delhi to Guwahati cracked mid-air, according to a report by news agency ANI. Due to bad weather, the aircraft did not return to Delhi and was diverted safely to Jaipur, DGCA officials said.
