New Delhi: BJP member Meenakshi Lekhi talked about the importance of cow urine in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday. While speaking on it, she said that cow urine is so beneficial that it helped a former government law officer recover from a serious illness.


She also questioned whether the government has some sorted plans to spread ancient science related to the cows and cattle and the importance of their urine.

"A former additional solicitor general was seriously ill but he finally started recovering when administered cow urine," she added.

The Lok Sabha speaker, Sumitra Mahajan also made a statement and said that "medicine is medicine".

In response to Meenakshi Lekhi's statement, Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh informed that Karnal is soon going to witness a genome center which will be under the Rashtriya Gomang Utpadakta Mission. The stress of the center is on the usage of latest technology.
