Minister of Civil Aviation Jyotiraditya Scindia is being trolled for a Gaffe on Twitter when he purportedly defined Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's regime as kusashan (misgovernance) instead of sushashan (good governance). A screenshot of the tweet was posted from the Twitter handle of the Congress's Madhya Pradesh unit.
Scindia tweeted the post on the occasion of the Foundation of Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday.
The erroneous tweet seemed to have been deleted and a corrected post was later tweeted out, which read: "Hearty greetings to all the residents of the state on the foundation day of Uttar Pradesh, the land of enthusiasm and enthusiasm. I wish that the state touches new heights of success under the leadership of the Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji and the good governance of the Chief Minister @myogioffice ji."
This is not the first time that Scindia has been trolled for such gaffe. In 2020, soon after he quit the Congress to join BJP, Scindia was recorded urging people to vote on the symbol of hand (the Congress's elections symbol).
The Madhya Pradesh Congress has been relentless in its attack on Scindia it seems. Last week shared a video with a collection of old clips, in which Scindia is seen trolling Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his foreign trips, demonetisation, terrorist attacks, and other issues.
Scindia had joined the Congress in 2001 after his father Madhavrao Scindia's death. He won the Guna byelection, necessitated by his father's death, in February 2002. He became a Union Minister in 2004 in the erstwhile Congress-led UPA government.
However, Scindia resigned from the Congress in 2020, taking with him several other MLAs to the BJP. This resulted in the fall of the Kamal Nath government the same year. Scindia lost the Guna seat in 2020 but was elected as BJP's Rajya Sabha MP from Madhya Pradesh. He was then made the Civil Aviation Minister.
