NEW DELHI: The senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad today reached Bengaluru to meet the chief Janata Dal’s Deve Gowda and his son Kumaraswamy.

The Congress party this time is taking no chances in the wake of Karnataka election results to repeat the Goa and Manipur fiascos.

Several exit polls have predicted a hung Assembly. It is said that the former prime minister H D Deve Gowda's JD(S) would play the role of the kingmaker.

In one of the most high-profile and bitterly fought elections in recent times, 222 of the 224 seats went to polls on May 12.
