Indore: Congress leader Digvijay Singh who is currently in a tiff with Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan shared a video of an incident of police brutality and called out 'Home Minister for not wearing a mask'.

The video was initially tweeted by Congress State Spokesperson Abbas Hafeez and was retweeted by Digvijay Singh. Allegedly, the incident took place in Indore where an auto driver was 'ruthlessly' beaten by the police for not wearing a mask.

Digvijay Singh calls out Home Minister Amit Shah in a tweet directed to the DGP. He tweeted, "DGP sir, what you are seeing is appropriate? Have you seen your Home Minister wearing a mask? I condemn this type of police brutality."

Recently, Digvijay Singh took a dig at Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's 24-hour Swasthya Agraha which he announced on Tuesday. He called it a gimmick and said that Chouhan should stop playing around. CM Shivraj was quoted by News18 as saying “I also wish to make a moral call for the public through Swasthya Agraha to practice safety measures including facial masks, maintain social distancing, go for vaccination and avoid social behaviour that helps in spreading Covid-19.”

According to a News18 report, Digvijay Singh said that the Covid-19 situation was getting worse and that the CM sitting around for 24 hours will not help make it better.
