Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday.
Sharing the information, Priyanka Gandhi tweeted: "Tested positive for covid (again!) today. Will be isolating at home and following all protocols."
Earlier in June, Priyanka Gandhi had also tested positive for the coronavirus. Following this, Priyanka Gandhi had cut her trip to Lucknow short and headed back to Delhi. The abrupt change in the schedule was not explained. The plan for the party's resurgence in Uttar Pradesh was the topic of the two-day conference in Lucknow.

India Covid Tally
On Tuesday, the number of COVID-19 cases in India increased to 4,41,74,650 with 12,751 new coronavirus infections recorded in a day, but the number of active cases decreased to 1,31,807, according to statistics from the Union Health Ministry, news agency PTI reported.
The death toll had risen to 5,26,772 with 42 fatalities, including 10 deaths confirmed by Kerala, according to statistics updated at 8 a.m.

According to the ministry, active cases account for 0.30 percent of total infections, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate is 98.51 percent.
On Tuesday, the active COVID-19 caseload has decreased by 3,703 cases.
