After the Bharatiya Janata Party announced the names of three new Chief Ministers in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh, the Congress took a swipe at the saffron party's CM picks in the three Hindi heartland states. Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinate said that anybody who can pose a challenge to Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be taken care of.

Shrinate took to X and shared a 5-point takeaway from the saffron party's CM picks saying that whom the BJP should make the Chief Minister and who not is BJP's own matter but to what extent is it correct to call the decisions of the three states historical.

"The reality is that: This is the end of BJP's regional satraps, Anyone who can pose a challenge to PM Modi will be dealt with, The decision of only 2 people sitting in Delhi will be imposed, not the elected MLAs, These Chief Ministers will follow his orders like puppets and any of them will be removed at any time whenever Saheb feels like it - as happened in many states like Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Assam, Democracy has completely ended within BJP and the will of two people is carried out in the name of the party, Well, the one who expelled people like Advani, Joshi, Sinha, Shourie from the Marg Darshak Mandal - for him its not a big deal?," the Congress spokesperson said.

The saffron party ended the days of suspense and picked new CMs in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan. In MP, the BJP picked Yadav as the new chief minister and denied party stalwart Shivraj Singh Chouhan a record fifth term in office. In Chhattisgarh, the BJP, which returned to power after five years, picked Sai, who will replace Congress leader Bhupesh Baghel. As far as Rajasthan is concerned, where the BJP toppled the Ashok Gehlot-led Congress, the saffron party appointed Bhajan Lal Sharma as the new CM.
