Commercial Cylinder Price: The National Oil Marketing Companies have slashed the prices of 19 kg of commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 91.50 with effect from February 1. Sources told ANI that, the price of a 19 kg commercial cylinder in Delhi will be Rs 1,907.


The decision will provide some relief to restaurants, eateries, tea shops, and others amid the rising inflation. Actually, maximum users of 19 kg cylinders belong to this category.

Last month on January 1, the price of a 19 kg commercial cooking gas cylinder was reduced by Rs 102.50, taking the price of the cylinder in Delhi to Rs. 1998.50. It will provide some relief to restaurants, eateries, tea stalls and others which constitute the largest user segment of the 19 kg cylinders.


However, the prices of other domestic cylinders weighing 14.2 kg, 5 kg, 10 kg composite or 5 kg composite cylinder have remained unchanged and their prices remain the same.


LPG Cylinder rate is revised monthly for all the states and union territories in India.


On February 1, the rate of non-subsidised (14.2 kg) Indane domestic cylinders in Delhi will be available at Rs.899.50. At the same time, the people of Kolkata will get a domestic LPG cylinder of 14.2 kg for Rs.926. In Mumbai, the price of a non-subsidised LPG cylinder will be the same as Delhi, while in Chennai it will cost Rs.915.50, according to HT.
