West Bengal Chief Minister and TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee got injured while campaigning in Nandigram. She had filed her nomination from the much-hyped Nandigram Assembly constituency on Wednesday.
As Mamata Banerjee was being taken to her car, she was spotted by media persons looking unwell. When asked about her health, the two-time Chief Minister revealed she was manhandled by 4-5 people and has been injured.
"This was done knowingly, there is definitely a 'saazish' (conspiracy)," she said when asked if she believes this was planned.

She further alleged that there was no local police or SP to protect her and has sustained an injury to her left leg. She also complained about discomfort in the chest area.
It was reported by the entourage of the CM that she is returning to Kolkata by road.
There is no video of the incident as claimed by the West Bengal Chief Minister as of now. However, there are videos from the spot which show the bandaged leg of Mamata Banerjee as her party members help the CM to reach her vehicle.
Bharatiya Janata Party's national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya talking to ABP News termed the incident as a dramatic stunt for seeking sympathy. He questioned how could this happen amid the convoy she was surrounded by. He added that the BJP wants a CBI probe into the matter so that the truth is unveiled.
Senior officials of West Bengal have sought a report from SP and DIG on the incident. Action to be initiated based on these reports.
