New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party Member of Parliament Tapir Gao on Tuesday said that soldiers of the Chinese Army suffered more injuries than the Indian side after the incident at the LAC in Arunachal Pradesh’s Tawang sector. Speaking to ANI Tapir Gao condemned the incident at the border. “I heard that a few injuries were reported on the Indian side but PLA suffered much more injuries. Indian soldiers at the border won't budge even an inch”, ANI quoted Gao as saying.

See, I also got the news that on December 9, an incident occurred between the PLA and the Indian Army in the Tawang sector of Arunachal Pradesh. In this incident, injuries were sustained on both sides. On the Indian side, many troops are injured but major injuries have been suffered on the Chinese side, we are getting this news sitting in Delhi.






“I just want to say that such incidents happening again and again at the McMahon line are bad for India and China relations and along with that I personally condemn the act of PLA. What PLA did is absolutely wrong because the Indian army at the border will not leave an inch and no matter how much China tries, Indian army will give them a befitting reply”, Gao said, as quoted by ANI. 


He also said, “according to the news that he t we are getting from our reliable sources, the Indian Army and ITBP are in touch and the situation is under control after the incident that occurred on December 9. A meeting has also been conducted and the situation is under control.” Gao said that India wants peace but that does not mean that India will keep letting China attack and Indian A, contestedding.


“The incident is condemnable and we only want peace that does not mean that we will keep letting you attack us. The more you will attack, the Indian Army will keep responding accordingly. I am proud of our Army,” he said. Earlier on Monday, PLA troops contacted the LAC in the Tawang Sector of Arunachal Pradesh which was contested by Indian troops in a firm and resolute manner.
