NEW DELHI: Chhota Bheem, one of country’s most popular cartoon character has also joined the cleanliness drive with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In order to motivate children to inculcate and learn the habit of cleanliness, a 'Chhota Bhima' game has been created. In this game, a cartoon character of PM Modi has also been added, which coordinates with Chhota Bhima. On Saturday, PM Modi tweeted and thanked 'Chhota Bhim' for the same. Users can download this game from the Play Store.


What did PM Narendra Modi write?

In a tweet, Modi wrote “Thank you Chhota Bheem, for strengthening the team that is fulfilling the dream of a Swachh Bharat. This valuable support will surely motivate more youngsters to join the movement.”


Earlier, the Twitter handle of Chhota Bheem had tweeted “Now Chhota Bheem joins the Swachh Bharat movement. Join him in the journey for a clean India”


Taking inspiration from PM Modi’s mission for cleanliness, introducing Chhota Bheem Swachh Bharat Run application was introduced which aims to be an inspiration for children to take up the values of clean living and clean India. In the game, a player runs through cities like Mumbai/Jaipur/Delhi, collecting dumps and wastes with Chhota Bheem to make India clean and green.

PM Narendra Modi had launched the Swachh Bharat Mission at Rajpath in New Delhi on 2nd October 2014. The campaign aims to achieve the vision of a ‘Clean India’ by 2nd October 2019.
