New Delhi: In Jewar, in Greater Noida, the proposal to set up a greenfield airport has finally been cleared by the government.

Located in Gautam Budh Nagar district, adjoining national capital city Delhi, the Jewar airport is likely to be operational in the next five to six years and will become the second airport in the National Capital Region (NCR) of Delhi after the aviation ministry granted approval to the project on Saturday.
