In the case of 12th board examinations out of the 12 remaining subjects’ exams will be conducted only for important subjects across the country although the decision will be finalised after the lockdown will be lifted. Tripathi also said that evaluation of the answer sheets will begin when the current situation of the pandemic in the country becomes better.
According to the CBSE, it will take at least two and a half months to evaluate the answer sheets and only after that will the results be declared. Tripathi also added that the planned steps are dependent on the status of the lockdown. The minister also said that the information was announced through a circular issued on April 1st.
“All over the world educational institutes have been affected by the lockdown. At this point, I request students, parents, and guardians to not panic and be patient. Stay at home and continue with self-study under the guidance of teachers. As the consequences of this period will be similar all over the world. If our results are delayed it will be the same in other parts of the world too,” Tripathi told ABP News.
