Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party chief Om Prakash Rajbhar has decided to join the NDA to contest the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. He said that he met Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday and discussed about issues faced by poor and backward people on the ground level. Rajbhar said that he finalised joining NDA for the welfare of these people which is 'also the vision of PM Narendra Modi'. He thanked Pm Modi, Amit Shah and Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath for taking him and his party along with other members of the NDA.

On his meeting with Amit Shah, he said, "We met Union Home Minister Amit Shah on July 14 and discussed various issues and decided to fight the 2024 elections together. I want to thank PM Modi, HM Amit Shah, CM Yogi Adityanath for taking us along."

When asked about his previous remark of joining the opposition if SP, BSP, RLD and Congress come together, Rajbhar said for how long will he wait for them to come to him.

On Sunday, Shah tweeted a photo of him with Rajbhar and another leader and said, "Me @oprajbhar  ji in Delhi and he decided to join NDA alliance-led by Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji. I welcome him to the NDA family."

"The arrival of Rajbhar ji will strengthen the NDA in Uttar Pradesh and the efforts being made by the NDA under the leadership of Modi ji for the welfare of the poor and downtrodden will get further strength," Sha further said.

This comes a day after BJP President JP Nadda invited LJP (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan and Hindustani Awam Morcha President Jitan Ram Manjhi for an NDA meeting on July 18 in Delhi.
