New Delhi: Congress-led Opposition continues to up the ante over their demand to form a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) to probe the allegations made by Hindenburg report over Indian conglomerate Adani. A day after the opposition tried to walk to the Enforcement Directorare's office, the parliamentarians will form a human chain in order to protest on Thursday.
Opposition parties will also try to seek an appointment with the President on Monday over the issue, sources told ABP Live.
The human chain formation by the opposition MPs will likely start from noon inside the Parliament Complex with the aim of disrupting proceedings to meet their demands.
The Opposition has been demanding a JPC over the issue and has been stalling the proceedings of both the Houses.

On Wednesday, leaders of the Opposition parties took to the road trying to march towards the ED office to submit a complaint against Adani Group but were curtailed by the police.
A total of 16 Opposition parties participated in the protest march to the ED office yesterday including Congress, Dravida Munnetra Kazhagham, Communist Party of India (Marxist), Janata Dal-United, Rashtriya Janata Dal, Samajwadi Party, Shiv Sena (Uddhav), Aam Aadmi Party, Communist Party of India, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, Indian Union Muslim League, Marumalachi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagham, National Conference, Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi, and Kerala Congress.
Trinamool Congress and Nationalist Congress Party kept out of the protest.
In another development, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi is likely to attend the Parliament today and is expected to speak on his democracy remarks made at Cambridge University.
The Congress MP had said during his speech that democracy was under pressure in India after which the Bharatiya Janata Party has been demanding an apology from the Wayanad MP saying he was trying to spoil the image of the country while travelling abroad.
