New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address BJP on the Budget today at 11 AM. The Bharatiya Janata Party President JP Nadda, Union Ministers, and other MPs will gather at the Ambedkar Bhawan today, where the party has invited the PM to speak.


The PM gave the information about the program on his Twitter. He wrote, “I will be talking about today’s people friendly and progressive Budget at a programme tomorrow, 2nd February at 11 AM. Do join the programme…”






Appreciating the budget that was presented yesterday by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, he said that this year’s budget caters to the needs of the development of remote and hilly areas. 


Calling the budget as ‘Atma Nirbhar Bharat Ka Budget’, he said, “Today’s #AatmanirbharBharatKaBudget brings with it new energy and strength to our development trajectory, especially at a time when we are courageously fighting a once-in-a-lifetime global pandemic. This Budget brings more infra, more investment, more growth and more jobs.”


In today’s event, PM Modi will address the union leaders as well as state-level leaders, MLAs, and office Bearers, said BJP chief spokesperson, and Rajya Sabha MP, Anil Baluni, reported news agency PTI.


He further said that the office bearers, elected members, and Mayors will be listening to the speech at their local offices via big screens installed by the party like for the state-level members.


Baluni also said that after listening to Modi’s speech, the MPs will hold a press conference on February 5 and 6 to explain the highlights of the budget in their own constituencies. 


He also said that those who will not be able to speak on these two days, can hold a press conference on February 12 and 13.
