Two men were killed and 12 people injured when a dumper truck hit two vehicles and a handcart parked on the side of a road here, police said on Tuesday.The incident occurred late on Monday evening near the Mahadev intersection Bulandshahr. The dumper truck hit a motorcycle, e-rickshaw and a handcart, killing Sunil (22) and Sachin (23) and injuring 12 others, the police officer said.The injured were rushed to the community health centre from where they were referred to a hospital for better treatment, he said, adding that the dumper truck has been impounded and the driver was taken into custody.

Allahabad HC To Pronounce On Tuesday Verdict On Pleas Challenging Gyanvapi Survey
The Allahabad High Court is likely to pronounce its judgment on Tuesday on five petitions challenging the maintainability of a civil suit pending before a Varanasi court seeking the restoration of a temple at the site where the Gyanvapi mosque exists.
The petitions filed by the Anjuman Intezamia Masajid Committee (AIMC) and the Uttar Pradesh Sunni Central Waqf Board have also challenged a Varanasi court order of April 8, 2021, to conduct a comprehensive survey of the Gyanvapi mosque.
On December 8, Justice Rohit Ranjan Agarwal had reserved judgment after hearing the counsels of the petitioners and the respondent.
The AIMC, which looks after the management of Gyanvapi mosque located adjacent to Kashi Vishwanath temple at Varanasi, has challenged the maintainability of a suit filed before a Varanasi court, wherein the Hindu petitioners have sought restoration of a temple at the site where the Gyanvapi mosque presently exists.
Karnataka CM To Meet PM On Tuesday To Discuss Drought Situation, Central Relief
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has said he will be meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Tuesday to discuss the drought situation and central government's relief to the state. He will also be meeting the Congress leadership during the visit to discuss preparations for Lok Sabha polls and the appointment of party legislators and workers to key positions in various state-run boards and corporations.
"The Prime Minister has given a date (appointment) tomorrow at 11 am, I will meet him to discuss the drought, so I'm going. Also there is a Working Committee meeting (of Congress), I will be attending it. I will also discuss preparations for the Lok Sabha election," Siddaramaiah told reporters.
According to the Chief Minister's tour plan shared with the media, he will be traveling to Delhi this evening and meeting Union Ministers on Tuesday, while his return journey has been kept open.
