Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist arrested in J-K's Kishtwar

A terrorist belonging to the Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) was arrested in Jammu and Kashmir's Kishtwar district on Friday, officials said.

Muzamil Shah, who joined militant ranks a few days ago, was arrested in a joint operation by police, Army and CRPF from Kulna forest area of Patimahalla Palmar, they said.

Police recovered one grenade, one magazine and 30 rounds of AK-47 rifle from his possession. An FIR was registered at Dacchan police station and further investigation into the matter is on, the officials said.

Taliban Warns India Against 'Military Role' In Afghanistan

Taliban Spokesperson Muhammed Suhail Shaheen told news agency ANI that the outfit is committed not to target any embassy or diplomat and appreciates all investments that have been done for people of Afghanistan. 


"If they (India) come to Afghanistan militarily & have their presence, I think that will not be good for them. They've seen the fate of military presence in Afghanistan of other countries, so it is an open book for them," Taliban Spokesperson Muhammed Suhail Shaheen added.

Breaking News, August 14, 2021, LIVE: As India expresses concern over the security of Indian community present there as well as the fate of projects by India in Afghanistan Taliban Spokesperson Muhammed Suhail Shaheen told news agency ANI that the outfit is committed to not to target any embassy or diplomat but cautions on any military role.


Taliban Spokesperson reportedly said that "If they (India) come to Afghanistan militarily & have their presence, I think that will not be good for them. They've seen the fate of military presence in Afghanistan of other countries, so it is an open book for them." 


Speaking on fate of projects by India in Afghanistan, the spokesperson said India has been helping the Afghan people or national projects and that is something which is appreciated.


In another development, NCPCR has asked Facebook India (trust & safety) head Satya Yadav to appear before it at 5 pm on Aug 17 via video conference along with details of action taken against Congress MP Rahul Gandhi's Instagram profile for posting a video revealing identify of a 'minor girl victim's family'.
