A coach of a train with 90 people on board derailed at Tatanagar station in Jharkhand's Jamshedpur on Monday, the railways said.
No one was injured in the incident that happened around 4.17 pm when Mumbai CSMT-Howrah weekly superfast express was entering platform 4, it said.
Coach D1 -- which was second in position from the rear -- derailed, the railways said.
All the passengers were later accommodated in alternative coaches as the train departed the station at 6.40 pm, it said.
Arrangements of snacks and mineral water were made at the station for the affected passengers, the railways said.

All eyes are set on the BJP's legislature party meeting here on Monday to decide the next chief minister of Uttarakhand where the party stormed back to power for an unprecedented second successive term.
The meeting to be attended by BJP's central observers for Uttarakhand -- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Union Minister of State for External Affairs Meenakshi Lekhi -- is scheduled to start at the state party office here on Balbir Road at 5 pm.
The meeting will end the 10-day long suspense over who will wear the crown in Uttarakhand where the BJP contested the elections in the name of a young chief minister in Pushkar Singh Dhami.
Though Dhami lost his own seat of Khatima, he is the frontrunner for the top post among about half-a-dozen names doing the rounds. Other probable names for the top job include those of Chaubattakhal MLA Satpal Maharaj, Shrinagar MLA Dhan Singh Rawat former Union minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank and Union Minister of State for Defence Ajay Bhatt.
Two-time Aam Aadmi Party MLA Kultar Singh Sandwan was on Monday unanimously elected as Speaker of the 16th Punjab Legislative Assembly.
Sandhwan's name was proposed by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann in the House on Monday.

The Andaman and Nicobar Islands are expected to experience heavy rain and strong winds on Monday as depression over the Bay of Bengal approaches towards North, said India Meteorological Department Scientist R K Janamani. "So far it is a depression which will intensify into a deep depression by Monday morning and it will further intensify into a cyclonic storm by Monday evening. If it emerges into a cyclonic storm then it will be known as Cyclone Asani," said Janamani.
IMD scientists said to ANI that by Saturday evening the depression over the Southeast and South Andaman sea is moving towards the north with the speed of 12 Km per hour. "The Depression over the southeast Bay of Bengal, about 200km of north-northeast of Car Nicobar (northern part of Nicobar Islands) and 100 km of south-southeast of Port Blair (Andaman Islands), will intensify into a deep depression in the next 12 hours and further into a cyclonic storm," he added. Meanwhile, National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) personnel have been deployed and are ready at different places with all necessary equipment to carry out search and rescue operations.

Kaushik further informed that the name of the Uttarakhand Chief Minister will be announced at the Legislative Party meeting scheduled to take place in the evening after the swearing ceremony.
“The meeting of Legislative Party will be held in the evening. Thereafter, the Chief Minister’s name will be announced,” Kaushik added.
Pro-tem Speaker in the Uttarakhand Assembly Bansidhar Bhagat and Governor of Uttarakhand, Lieutenant General (Retired) Gurmit Singh had also confirmed on Sunday that the MLAs would take their oath on Monday.

The BJP legislature party meeting decided to select the next chief minister of Uttarakhand is expected to be held in Dehradun on Monday.
"All newly elected members of the Legislative Assembly will take oath at 11 am in Vidhan Sabha, tomorrow," Uttarakhand BJP chief Madan Kaushik said.
"The meeting of Legislative Party will be held in the evening. Thereafter, the Chief Minister's name will be announced," Kaushik had said.
Meanwhile, Pramod Sawant, Goa's interim Chief Minister, announced on Sunday that the decision on the swearing-in ceremony will be made during the Legislature Party meeting Monday evening.
He stated that Bharatiya Janata Party observers will travel to Goa on Monday to attend the Legislature Party meeting, news agency ANI reported.
"I went to Delhi yesterday, BJP observers will be coming in Panaji tomorrow for the Legislature Party meeting. The decision about the swearing-in ceremony will also be taken in the evening tomorrow," Sawant informed ANI.
"BJP will stake claim and approach Governor to form the next government tomorrow after the legislative party meeting," he said.

President Volodymyr Zelensky stated on Sunday that he is "ready for negotiations" with Russian President Vladimir Putin, but that failure to do so would entail "a third World War," CNN reported.
"I'm ready for negotiations with him. I was ready for the last two years. And I think that without negotiations we cannot end this war," he was quoted by CNN in its report.
"I think that we have to use any format, any chance in order to have a possibility of negotiating, the possibility of talking to Putin. But if these attempts fail, that would mean that this is a third World War," he added.
