One of the boundary walls at Jal Vayu Vihar, Sector 21, Noida fell on Tuesday morning. The cause of the collapse has yet to be determined, news agency ANI reported.
The fire brigade department is also on site to assist with cleanup efforts and search operations for any injured victims.
Speaking about the casualities, Noida Police Commissioner Alok Singh stated: "Unfortunately, 4 people died. 9 people were shifted to a hospital for better treatment. NDRF and Fire Brigade teams are conducting the last search mission. FIR will be lodged and action will be taken."

Speaking about the wall collapse incident, Noida DM Suhas LY stated: "Noida Authority had given contract for drainage repair work near Jal Vayu Vihar in Sec 21. We've been told when labourers were pulling out bricks, wall collapsed. It'll be probed. Received info of 2 deaths each (total 4) at Dist Hospital & Kailash Hospital; being verified."

"Rescue operation is underway. Details of the injured people are being ascertained. The area is being searched as a precautionary measure. All teams are present here," he further added, ANI reported.
Earlier on September 16, nine people were killed and two more were injured after a wall fell in the state's Lucknow owing to heavy rain.
Pradeep (28) and his wife Reshma (25), Dharmendra (28) and his wife Chanda (26), Pappu (50) and his wife Mankunwar Devi (45), Pradeep's one-year-old daughter Naina, and two boys, aged one and two years - sons of Dharmendra - are among those who have perished. They were all Jhansi inhabitants. Officials stated they were all sleeping in a cabin when the wall fell, and all were buried beneath the debris.
