A similar incident also took place in Chembur area of Mumbai, where another wall collapsed late Friday night. Several rickshaws and cars were damaged after the incident. Soon after the incident, fire tenders were rushed to the spot to remove the debris.
The incidents which took place because of heavy rains in Mumbai on Friday claimed three lives. As per a BMC official, 3 people died in West sub district, whereas 2 got severely injured. As per the Municipal official, the dead have been identified as Kashima Yudiyar (60), Rajendra Yadav (60) and Sanjay Yadav (24).
Due to rains areas like Wadala, Worli, Bandra, Chembur, Andheri, Kandivali, Vikroli, Kanjurmarg, Bhandup faced water-logging.

Three persons died of electric shocks, while two others were injured in two separate incidents in the western suburbs, a spokesperson of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said.
