Bihar: In yet another incident of crime against women, a girl was allegedly raped in a moving train in Bihar on Sunday.  The accused then mercilessly threw her out of the moving train, leaving her in a very critical condition.


The incident took place at at Kiul Railway Station in Lakhisarai.

The girl is currenly battling for her life in hospital.

Though a probe has been launched to find the details of the incidents, no arrests have been made so far.

Speaking on the incident, Sub Divisional police officer Pankaj Kumar said, “We are carrying out an investigation and would arrest the accused soon”.

The incident happened hours after a college going girl was allegedly raped and set ablaze by her boyfriend at her house in Bihar’s Khagaria district on Sunday.

As per police officials, the accused entered the house of the girl and raped her before setting her on fire with kerosene oil at Temtha Karari village.

After committing the crime, he left the girl’s room by locking the door from outside.

On hearing her cries, her relatives and neighbours broke the door of her room and took her to the hospital where she succumbed to injuries.
